The history of the California State Columbiettes began with a dedicated group of Catholic women who came together with a shared desire to serve God, their communities, and the Church. These pioneering women became our Charter Council, establishing the foundation upon which the California State Columbiettes would grow.

From that first State Council forward, generations of Columbiettes have stepped forward to serve in leadership, giving their time, talents, and energy to strengthen our organization and support its mission. Through community outreach, spiritual growth, fundraising, and service to others, these women have helped shape the California Columbiettes and build a tradition of faith, friendship, and sisterhood.

A vital part of our legacy has always been the belief that women of faith can accomplish more when they work together. Through leadership, collaboration, encouragement, and a willingness to serve, our State Council officers have helped foster unity among our auxiliaries and inspired women to become active participants in their communities and the Church.
