Convention News

The convention has officially concluded, and we are thrilled to introduce the newly elected state officers for the upcoming year: - Diana Seixas: State President - Sandee Woodham: Vice President - Colleen Sanchez: State Secretary (continuing her role) - Lucia Amerson: Financial Secretary (returning to her position) - Linda Hewett: Treasurer (returning to her position) - Dianne Plaisted: Sentinel - Nancy Garcia: State Advocate (joining the Board for the first time) - Delana Romero: Immediate Past President This year’s convention was an extraordinary experience—one that brought us opportunities to grow, build meaningful connections, and conduct a highly productive state business meeting. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who contributed to its success. Your dedication and support truly made this event memorable! We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the Mayor of San Diego for honoring us by proclaiming June 21, 2025, as "California Columbiettes Day." This incredible recognition is both humbling and deeply meaningful to our mission and community. Looking ahead, we are eager to see Diana Seixas lead us into an exciting new chapter of growth and engagement. One of her cornerstone projects for the upcoming year will be the development of a mentorship program for new members. This project will aim to foster stronger connections, build a lasting support system, and empower every member to thrive. By investing in mentorship, we can strengthen the foundation of our organization and create a ripple effect of positive change throughout the communities we serve. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to get involved as we work together to make this vision a reality!

Social Gatherings

At the heart of what we do are meaningful activities that bring our community together and make a positive impact. Our efforts include fundraising, where we work to support important causes and provide resources for those in need.
